It's 2012!

Happy New Year to all my friends and relatives n to those new friends who have visited my blog. It's been awhile since I update my blog..reason being I was too tired and lethargic of my 2nd pregnancy. The morning sickness was just too strong I barely can sit up gosh...so my blog gotta wait ;-)

Anyway, hope all have a great start of the year 2012, shall be updating my blog as frequent as I could from now on ... Happy New Year 2012!!!

Video game for Kyle

Earlier on, I did mentioned that I would like to get a video game for Kyle...hoping that he could play and learn at the same time, rather than watching Tamil MTV most of the time.. yes my boy listen to Indian songs / CDs more than anything else!

So, I order this online, just in time when his portable dvd player went 'kong' already last week. Hopefully his dvd can be fixed before our next trip on school holiday. He need his dvd player so badly that he becoming a couch potato or maybe bed potato ... haiz. Maybe now its the time for him to take a short break apart from his 'so called TV' and play with his new toy ;-)

It's FRYDAY!!

Aloha all...it's the end of workdays again for me...and i'm so in the good mood today. So, I thought of having a slice of cake and a cup of coffee in the office  - for my tea time. Though it rains cats and dogs outside, I still manage to went out and got myself the tea treat. Of course I was drenched a lil bit, but what harm does a lil wet could do eh? *touch wood*... Hope you all have a great weekend ahead ;-)

V-Tech gagdet

Been to Toy's r Us so many times, everytime also looking for Toy Story toys or Chuggington trains..but recently I've been eyeing on this video game called V-Smile motion. It's a tutorial video games that teach kids while playing. It has many types of Disney cartoons games eg. Toy Story,  Princess and frogs, Shrek, Cars, etc...Kyle likes it so much; that he would queue up to play on the set they put in store. Sometimes, there are kids who can hang on to the set for half an hour, and still my poor Kyle would wait for them..until I can't stand anymore..I told the kids that they have to take turns cause it's not theirs. So, when came to this time I thought maybe I should get 1 for him so that he can have his own set, but the price hmmm...darn expensive...will think about it though.

No school bus

Yesterday early morning, we received a message from Kyle's teacher saying her father has passed away. Therefore she won't be able to pick and fetch students back home after school. So, I had to fetch the boy back at noon. So, does today..teacher Kulwant is still not back to school yet. Another day for me to fetch my little boy. He kept asking me "why teacher kulwant never come to pick me up??"...I replied, "you don't like mumy come and pick u meh?" ... lucky the boy say "like" ;-) How does your child goes to school or kindy? Mind to share?

Season's Fruit...

This was few weeks ago. We were walking to shops to get our dinner and came across this durian stall ... been asking hub couple of days before but couldn't had them as he was not feeling in the pink of health. So, this time around, since he's the 1 suggesting to get some..of coz happy happy me!!

Now that there's offer of 'opening up' service, of course we are more than happy loh...can save so much of hassle and time..hehe..

 

We chose musang king, 1 of the best grade among the 'king of fruits'...not cheap though, costing RM100 for 4 nos of durian...and inside is not much pieces mind you. But i tell you - the aroma and the bitterness blends so well with its sweetness...and not forgetting the mild taste of 'alcohol' .. they all just taste heaven!!

Girlfriend's Birthday..

Last weekend, we went to KLCC for my girlfriend's birthday celebration. Of course Kyle liked it when I told him we are going there as he likes all those cartoon ridings and toys r us! Went to check out the Korean restaurant at first, but found their menu not so child friendly....no chicken except for spicy or hot pot..darn it! So we opt for Japanese instead...

Hepatitis B vaccine...

 

Yesterday, I went and brought Kyle for a visit to our family doctor as he's having some bad cough and mild fever. So I thought better start him off with antibiotic. Now that he's much older, I thought we could skip his paed as the clinic is bit far. After Kyle got prescribed, its my turn. I took my very first Hep B vaccine. Been telling myself to get it few years back but just got delayed and delayed...so lucky I remember that day, hence took it straight away..Hep B comes in 3 shots in total; with a gap of 1 month for the 2nd dose and 6 months for final dose.

Pay tributes to ancestors...

Last thursday, me and my family went for ancestors praying day... Actual 'Ching Ming' day falls on tuesday, so we are few days late..which we thought it is alrite because by then most people would have done the praying and the place wont be crowded.

 This is the 'gift box' we used to wrap up all the clothes, shoes, hell notes, etc. Our ancestors was my grandparents and grand uncle.

 Here are my dad and younger brother burning the gift boxes. Lucky they had a big chimney as burning place, else we will be melted under the hot sun!

My brother doing the inspection, wanna make sure that every bits and parts are burnt properly, so that my ancestors will get the 'gift box' intact woh ;-)
