Massage treat...

Yesterday, after working hours...me and my colleague went for a short massage near our office area. We went and checked out a newly opened massage center coz our regular place was closed. Very well organised and child friendly place.

There's a weekday promotion at RM 68 for 75min full body. So, we opt for that.. Before the massage we were offered a foot bath with eucalyptus oil... to smooth and clean our feet.. Below are 3 oil option for us to choose for the body massage namely stress relief, energising and 1 more couldn't really remember for what purpose. We chose the 'energising' oil ;-)

 

Good thing about the saloon is we are given 2 beds per room, so me and my colleague can chat along. That's what I thought initially, but as the session was going on, I was having so much pain and ticklish feeling until I have to shout at the masseur to slow down... more than 5 times! And I have to tell her each and every time she did at different part of my body, then only she will slow down.. her strength was just way too hard for me to handle, the parts that she did was not like other masseur will do normally, so it's a very ticklish feeling altogether. And when she was doing the head massage, gosh she really used up all her energy to push me down, until I almost thought she would smash my skull..well, overall it's a painful experience for me :-(

New toy for Kyle...

Few days back after fetch Kyle from my in-law's house, we went for a stroll near my house area. Thinking maybe I would grab something for dinner as well, since Sri is outstation. As we walked, Kyle told me he wanna go to toy shop and get his bubble gun refills. So I thought "y not?"...

Reached the shop, he has something else in his mind. Instead of bubble refill, he told me he wanted a 'MOTORBIKE'!! Though we did mentioned of getting him one, never know he will really remember it loh. Plus, it's too sudden, not sure I got bring enough cash as a motorbike is not cheap eh.. Well, once he said that, he is not the type who can take it back or wait any longer...such a demanding child! Die die also must get that toy.. hmm, lucky i have just enough (after much bargaining with the boss) ;-D

Bak Kut Teh dinner ....

Few weeks back, there is a new restaurant open in our living area. Everytime we passed by we told ourselves "must try must try"..but always ended up forgotten about it. So, last friday Sri finally remember it and suggested we try out. Off we go, its quite a fine restaurant but not many customers I see. First thing they came up to us, was a basket full of varieties of tea packets...for us to choose. There seems to be no other drinks other than chinese tea. As usual, I opt for 'char wong' since we both like it. Food not much choices also, as it only offer 'bak kut teh' and vegetables. But, surprisingly the BKT is of many choices eg. pork ribs, stomach, intestines, string tied, big spare ribs, small ribs, etc...all sorts of pig 'spare parts'. Not bad at all, we will definitely try out again some other 'pig parts' next time, although the price is not cheap ;-)

Busy day at work...

Today is a very productive day for me at work. Did I tell you that I'm a one-leg-kick in my entire office? Well, from ordering stock for outlets to receiving to payment!! All by myself...which is supposed to be done by 3 different staffs from 3 different departments! And yet I'm the 1 who will be running around to get my bosses signatories, cheques banking, etc etc etc.... sigh, damn exhaustive job I'm having eh??? But I got a great boss who give me all the flexibility I want ;-D

Taaadaa... my end product! This is my first attempt in making bird nest dessert.. luckily taste good (according to sri n Kyle)... Will do more often once Kyle is recovered from flu... though the washing and hair removing procedure is darn troublesome ;-)

Nourishment treat from Lady Boss!

Did I tell you all that I have a very nice and generous boss? Well, this boss of mine (Jackie) is very nice..on and off he will offer me some bird nest to drink. And during festive season like Chinese New Year, the Lady Boss of his (Marilyn) will give me a box full of raw bird nest..and they are in very good quality! They are very nice couple who always know how to handle their staff. Yesterday, Marilyn cook us some porridge. Don't be deceived by its look, yes! it's bird nest's porridge woohooo... taste is so marvelous with japan scallops, escargot from HK, teriyaki chicken and mouthful of bird nests!!! I think I will need the recipe ;-) care to share what's your favourite porridge??

Down with cold..

On sunday morning, I couldn't drag myself out from bed. I was so lethargic and heaty. The night before we went to my friend's wedding dinner and I'm already like sneezing 10th times there OMG.. so I quickly pop in some med once we got home that night, but looks like no use at all... Hubby and in-laws went to my parent's shop for breakfast, early in the morning. So, I didn't join as Kyle is still not wake up yet. Told him to take away for us some noodle..had it and pop some more medicine, then i doze off again... zzzz. 

1st School-break is here!

Its the start of 1st school holiday here in Malaysia. Although just a short 1-week break, I still feel awesome knowing the fact that I can sleep in late on workdays! so this mean that Kyle can lepak longer and sleep lil late at night. Didn't plan out any getaway as hubby will be outstation next monday and tuesday. So, will probably wait and plan something out on the next school break in may ;-) Weekend is here, enjoy my friends all ...

Matta fair and big sales 2011..

Tomorrow mark the start of 3-days Matta Fair 2011 at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur. 10am - 9pm. Admission fee is applicable with a wrist band given at the entrance. Last year was at RM3, not sure will be the same this year. As I have to pass by the area for work, I always remind myself to start my journey slightly earlier to avoid the ever long jam the public will cause. It will be worse on the second and third day as it falls on weekend normally.

Airline tickets can go for really low price there. One can find very reasonable price for holiday packages, cheap hotels or  just ground packages.

I myself are not really keen on this fair as it will get very crowded and might ended up with nothing, except for exhaustion from walking from 1 travel agency to another..sigh. I went once and gave up.. too tiring. I prefer to go online, easier and more convenient (especially booking accommodation).

Good ol'food

I went to take my report this morning at Bangsar. As I used to work there, I used to eat around that area's kopitiam alot. It's been 3 years now and I so missed the food. So, I couldn't resist myself with the good old food now that I'm there. Despite the terrible traffic jam and limited car parks, I thought being selfish for this time won't hurt tat much ;-) so I double park and went tapau my nasi campur! Few minutes and I'm outta there....

Back to office, I straight away whack the food, though I have just had my nasi lemak breakfast 2 hours ago hehe...yummylicious!

HIgh protein??!

For those of you who have been following my blog - you all know I'm not a big fans of meat. But ya know what my blood test report said? that I'm high in protein woh! I like "since when I've loaded up on meat?". Not to mention I'm high in cholesterol too..no doubt age is catching up now..i have to admit my metabolism level is decreasing slowly ;-(

Virus or bacteria?

Ever since Kyle started go to kindy, he has been falling sick more often. One week done school he will fall sick on the weekend, and then MC for the next whole week. This incident had happened twice in the last 2 months. And why do this happened to him as I don't see many kids being affected by this health problem? So I've been assuming that my boy's immune system is not as good as other kids; until 1 day I went inside the kindy hall to make payment for the monthly fees that I notice few other kids are coughing (with lotsa phlegm) and having runny nose with fever are there!! GOSH!! I asked 1 of the sick kid's mother, who were there "Why are you still sending your kid to kindy when she's not well?"...guess what she say... "I don't want her to be at home, lazying around and get used to it". So, now I know why my boy is falling sick so often :-( thanks to those ignorant and selfish parent!

International Women's Day!

Originally called International Working Women's Day, it is a major day of global celebration for women. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.

In many regions, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love for their women in a way somewhat similar to a mixture of Mother's Day and Valentine's Day.

Well, for me it's just another reason to dine out with my boys ;-)

My lunch..

Every workdays I take-away my lunch. As I need to take care of the office alone, I have no time to eat out. I will just tapau mix rice and eat in office while doing my work or face-booking. 2 veges and a meat, that's my preference, sometimes I can go meatless with 3 veges ;-) Why? Coz I just don't like meat that much.

Kyle's new school bag..

Last weekend we went to get a new school bag for Kyle. His teacher been telling us to get a bigger bag for him as the current one is a bit small for A4 size paper. What we did was, we fold half the A4 paper homework until the folder also torn. So, when we go for shopping I found sum trolley bags. Kyle loves them so much, dragging and trying almost all the bags they have there. Told him he must only choose one...and guess what? He chose this one (in the photo) which is exactly the same as his current bag, only this one is few inch taller and with trolley ;-)

Weekend @ in-law's

Yesterday was sunday, and it means 'household chores day' for me and spouse. My spouse will do the vacuum and I will take care of the laundry and moping. Kyle has been a very good helper for me as he likes to help put with both my tasks. At first I was reluctant to let him do as I scare he will mess things up..but recently his teacher told me that his fingers are not strong enough when asked to cut & tear paper in class. So i thought these small 'help' will train him better.

Once house works are done, we usually head down to my in-law house for lunch or tea time. These time around I thought of lil Chloe of MB. She likes to bring around her books and colouring utensils whenever they went out for makan session. So, I put a colouring book and a box of colour pencils in Kyle's bag. Very useful indeed! ;-)

I'm a vampire!

I was talking about getting my annual medical check up since last year, coz it's overdue for couple of months already now. So, I fasted for more than 12hours and brought myself to the lab yesterday. Went there, they took 3 attempts with 3 different veins at both arms! but still couldn't take any blood out. SIGH! And I was already having my usual migraine due to no caffeine-of-day yet GOSH... so was asked to come back again on monday.

So, out we go to take my car...tired and frustrated...and what's more to it?? I found a summon letter on my windscreen... aargghhh!!! what a day boy oh boy ;-(

Thank Goodness It's Friday!

Its the end of weekdays again. I just can't get enough sleep ever since Kyle started kindy. We used to sleep till 10am but not anymore now.. besides dragging myself out of the bed at 7am (3 hours earlier!),  I also have to shake and wake the 'lazy bum' up. It can lasts for as long as 40mins before Kyle finally gets down from the bed. And this really frustrates me sometimes coz we always ended up late to kindy ;-(

Weekend is coming and I usually will tug myself in the bed for as long as I wish. Gosh, I just feel I'm getting old faster nowadays. People say the older you grow the lesser sleep hour you'll need.. Is that really true? 

2011 CNY - mall deco

This is from the last CNY, I couldn't resist to post this up as I'm so amazed at the giant lion head! Been to so many malls for so many years, I shall say this is the only 1 tat really made me goes 'WOW' ... and I can't wait for their next year's decorations already .. another jaw-dropped creation hopefully ;-)

First day without crying...

Today mark the very first day of no-tears for Kyle at kindy... as usual I will parked my car and walk him to the kindy before letting him go at the entrance. Though he will still insist me to 'wait outside', this time around is without teary red eyes ... which I felt proud of him. What he didn't know is that I am really watching from outside, peeping as much as possible at how is he coping (especially with the mandarin teacher)... ;-)

Finally it's here.....

I've been wanting to create my own blog since last year, but just don't have the time. Now that today I'm abit free, I tried and finally did it on my own! It's that easy ;-) All the while I thought it was a tedious job to create..but well, like people say 'U never try, u never know' eh?
